Our news section comprises agents of change whereby, we continue the long-standing tradition of breaking barriers and achieving goals that were once thought to be impossible. Our news section is dedicated to honoring our heroes and sharing the stories of those remarkable women who gave it their all and left their mark on Eta Alpha Pi Sorority, Incorporated®. Whether they are active and affiliated with our Sorority or not, we give recognition to their contributions and honor their legacy as we continue to march forward, making strides in empowering the world. Soror Jameelah Lowery was the first woman to lead in by the grace of God with the grit and the audacity to create a safe place for women who love God and love people in Tampa, Fl in 2015 becoming our Founding Onyx.

Ebonie Flowers was the first woman to attend a previous Grand Reunion and declare her allegiance to God's cause by joining the Sorority the subsequent Summer intake season in 2018.  Her contribution of service is celebrated.

Soror Stephanie Ferrell was the first woman to introduce the Project Planet national program garnering 90% of the service work done in 2024 alone. She single-handedly launched this in 2023.

Honorary Soror Kareece Bell-St. George and Honorary Soror Amy Diaz-Hatton made history as the first women to join the Sorority as a honorary cohort in 2024. Being the first to lend themselves to our future.

News Blast From The Past

Some Eta Pis are captured enjoying themselves at the SigXi Phamily picnic in Orlando, FL, in October 2021. The trio stands together, arms around each other, radiating joy and excitement. Their bright smiles reflect the fun atmosphere of the event, with a backdrop of picnic tables, colorful decorations, and lush greenery. Each is dressed casually, wearing t-shirts with Sorority colors symbolizing their unity.
